Masters - Adult
The Teton Nordic Team, based in Teton Valley Idaho, has added a Master’s group to their Nordic ski program. The program is open to all adults over 21 years old and all abilities, from first time skiers to racers. While the term “Master’s” is usually reserved for adults over the age of 30, TNT welcomes all adult skiers. The winter master’s program will consist of two groups – a Race group and a Recreational group, both meeting twice a week. The program gets underway the first full week of January – the 8th for the Race group and the 9th for the Rec group – and will go for 8 weeks, through the last week of February. Coaches: Chi Melville, Lars Onsrud, Jan Borstelman.
The Master’s Race Group will focus on training for races with additional technique & video work to make your skiing more efficient.

Comp Team - High School
This program is for high schoolers, meeting 4 times a week for Dryland and 5 times a week on snow. While still focusing on fun, this program will be more structured training with the goal of learning to ski fast (because skiing fast is wicked fun!)! Dryland will be a mix of running, roller skiing, strength training, and games and drills intended to improve technique, fitness and and strength. This team will attend as many competitions as we can, including Junior National Qualifiers! Head Coach: Kyle Marvinney, Assistant Coaches: Cam Mitchell and Roxy Pierson.
Prep Team - Middle School
This Program is for middle schoolers and will meet 3 times a week for Dryland and 3 times once there is snow. While still focusing on fun, this program will begin expanding the skiers skills into more advanced technique as well as more advanced training, including longer duration work outs and more intense workouts. Dryland will be composed of running, hiking, games/drills, and an introduction to strength training while on-snow-training will focus on fun, skiing technique and conditioning. Racing for this age will include regional events. Head Coach: Kyle Marvinney, Assistant Coaches: Cam Mitchell and Roxy Pierson.
Rec Team - Elementary School
The point of this program is simply to have fun on snow! This group of K - 5th graders will meet once a week for Dryland and twice a week on snow 1/8 - 2/28. The focus is entirely on learning to ski through games and fun activities, both on and off snow. This program will also provide opportunities to attend local races which have appropriate distances for this age group ( 1- 3 km). Kids younger than 5 may also attend if accompanied by a parent. Coach: Jo Warden, Assistant Coach: Ben Morris.
